dina Lang and Katy Nadal were longtime friends who shared a love for the practice of yoga. In 2010, Katy and dina turned their focus toward bringing yoga to people of all ages and abilities, the passion behind the creation of Santosha Yoga.
In 2019 Katy retired from studio ownership. dina, now the sole owner of Santosha Yoga, is committed to keeping the vision of this community studio in Bethany Village alive and well.
The name, Santosha, is Sanskrit for contentment. dina believes that through yoga each person can discover their true self and find Santosha!
We believe that yoga has the power to transform lives, and our goal is to make this trans-formative practice available to people of all ages and abilities.
Yoga is an ancient scientific system designed to empower health, happiness and a greater sense of self. The word ‘yoga’ means ‘union’ and refers to the oneness of mind, body and spirit. Yoga is not a religion, it is a practice. It supports and enhances all cultural, racial and religious backgrounds. All classes at Santosha reflect this philosophy, where everyone is welcome to find peace and contentment just as they are.
