Anything that brings awareness to the good works being done on behalf of others is only a good thing. As a culture we hear first and foremost about wrong doings, bad news, human unkindnesses and it can breed hopelessness. But there are so many good things happening all the time and I am so blessed that my job is about offering a space for loving kindness to grow and spread.
Yoga is the practice of making time to step away from some of the negative influences around us and make a choice to fill our own spaces (bodies, minds, souls) with hopefulness.
In April, my personal practice and classes I teach will be dedicated to making space, creating a solid foundation on which to cultivate peace, love, tolerance, patience and hope. The good works of Living Yoga will be at heart center as the month’s intention. I hope you will join me by dedicating your practice this April to offering hope to those who need it most.
