Memorial Day Closure


In observation of Memorial Day, Santosha will be closed Sunday and Monday, May 26th & 27th, so that we can honor and remember those who have served our country as well as those who hold special places in our hearts.

A slower moving vinyasa flow class for those whose schedules are not accommodated by the earlier classes.  Jodi shares her gift of yoga with you after she too gets her little ones off to bed.  The perfect way to wind down the evening, ease the tension of the day out of your muscles and joints and prepare for a good night's sleep.

Dharma Yoga Level II and Level III

A system of yoga cultivated over the course of forty-five years of teaching Classical Hatha-Raja Yoga by Sri Dharma Mittra.  The asana sequences bring 
students methodically and safely to a state of strength, flexibility,and grace.  Each pose represents a state of consciousness and when done properly, with open hearts and minds, blissful feelings of inner calm and self-control are experienced.  "Now that I have finished Sri Dharma Mittra's Life of a Yogi training, I am excited to share his Great Practice with my students here at Santosha.  Together we will discover how to harness our collective energy to bring us all to a higher level of consciousness both on and off the mat." ~ dina

(Dharma II, Thursdays @ 7pm, is comparable to our regular Vinyasa class and Dharma III, Saturdays @ 9am, to our Power Vinyasa level.)


Raja Yoga Basics ~  Free Community Class! ~ Sunday, June 9th @ 7pm!

The asana practice (physical postures of yoga) is what brought most of us to our mats for the first time.   As our practice develops, so does the inkling that there is much more to Yoga than warrior pose.

Join Dina on the 1st Sunday evening of the month as she shares the other seven limbs of yoga.  Through pranayama (mindful breathing) and deep relaxation, quiet the mind into silence, where meditation can bring us closer to a state of samadhi (complete absorption in the practice.)  On a physical level, this inner silence increases the amount of active gray matter in the brain.  On a mental level it helps us control our emotions and reduce the effects of stress in our lives.  On a spiritual level it is how we become perceptually and experientially 'one' with the environment.

Feel free to bring your meditation cushion and Mala beads if you have them.  Chairs available to be as comfortable as possible!  ~ All Levels welcome!
