I walked into my first yoga class seven years ago and have been hooked ever since. I began in Bikram Yoga which I primarily practiced for the first few years, until my mother taught me Bakasana, crow pose, where I then made the switch to Vinyasa style yoga (where I quickly developed a deep love of balancing on my hands). The inversions and arm balances drew me into yoga but the union of body and mind and the link between breath and movement is what has kept my yoga journey going. I believe that laughter is mandatory in all my classes, a little bit of sweat never hurt anybody and that life is better spent upside down. My hope is that my students walk away from my class feeling inspired and empowered.
I completed my 200 hour teacher training with dina Lang at Santosha Yoga in January of 2015.
