A Four Week Series to recover your core and heal after birth! Next Session: April 2nd - 30th at 3 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. (no class on 4/16 Easter)
Each Mamalates class in the six week series is a 75 minute class that is based on the Mamalates (pilates-based birth recovery) and Postpartum Yoga to:
Release tension in tight shoulders, hips, and hamstrings
Strengthen Core, Pelvis, and Hips
Proper posture and Alignment for optimal healing
Stability and Balance
It's a supportive, non-judging place to enjoy some Pilates, yoga and build a stronger core while surrounded by warm, welcoming energy of other moms in the community. The class series will incorporate seated work, core work on the back and hands+knees, standing poses, yoga flows and restorative poses.
Each week's class will build into the next so that you feel progessively stronger and knowledgeable on how to keep rebuilding from the inside out! If you need to bring your baby with you due to childcare reasons, you are welcome to nurse, feed, and change baby as needed during the class. Bring a water bottle, a toy or lovey, and anything you or baby needs. Please only pre-crawlers or younger.
