Megan Patten

Teaching style: Inviting, Positive, Purposeful, Kind
Megan has been dabbling with yoga since 2008. Her yoga path initially had many detours and she was very sporadic in her practice. In 2014, she found herself back on her yoga path with a new found determination and discipline, practicing almost daily. She began to notice shifts in every aspect of her life. She became amazed at the healing benefits that yoga offered her: reduction of stress, anxiety and depression, and better sleep. She believes that yoga is “medicine” for her body, mind and spirit. “Taken” daily, she feels whole and complete!
Bikram Yoga was the style that initially appealed to Megan, then she later opened up to Vinyasa and Yin styles.
Her passion and love for practicing yoga guided her to teacher training, and she completed her 200 hour Initial Yoga Certification program with dina Lang in January 2016. She is also a registered member of Yoga Alliance. For Megan, teaching yoga is a sacred opportunity to help others find the healing they need. She feels honored to be able to help guide students on their own paths of self-discovery. She finds the most rewarding part of teaching yoga is witnessing the transformations that occur in her students. Megan looks forward to sharing what she has learned with you as you meet yourself on this life-changing yoga journey.
